Halloween
2002 - Kerr Cultural Center: Geoffrey Platt's death in 2000
ended a Valley tradition. Every Halloween, he would scare audiences at
the Kerr Cultural Center with his spooky readings from Edgar Allan Poe
and other masters of the macabre. This year, Dolan Ellis, Arizona's
official balladeer, and Marshal Trimble, the state's official historian,
join forces to tell ghost stories - but with a Southwestern twist.
One thing didn't change.
The Audiences were asked to dress for the
occasion. Performances were at 8 p.m.
October 31 and November 1 at the Center, 6110 N Scottsdale Road,
Scottsdale. Tickets: $15 - $18. Details: 480-596-2660.
