As promised, here are some more photos of Geoffrey, including some of
the young Geoff, taken at Peter and Margaret's wedding 40 years ago.
Peter is another old friend of Geoff, and helped me with the Bolton
Abbey Memorial service in March. I was best man at their wedding, and
Geoff was a groomsman. The photo of the three of us shows Geoff, me, and
Peter, the same three who feature in the 'boozy night out' photo you
already have, which was taken about the same time. It could even have
been after Peter's stag party, but I can't say for definite. I include a
rare picture (GeoffWedding2), which shows Geoff both drinking and
smoking with some other wedding guests. As I have said before, he was
quite different then.
